If it states a 'breakaway' lanyard, it means if pulled the clasp will separate. Far safer in a Special Education setting. It contains wooden and clay beads, with a metal keyring clasp and acrylic breakaway clasp. The thread is nylon. If it does not state this then it will not have this option as part of the chosen design.
