How to make
- Pupil chooses what they are working for and stick within the box
- They earn the three dots each time they complete part of the task (three steps)
- The dots are never taken away for not doing the right thing, it simply just delays the reward.
- Once they receive the third circle they are to receive the reward instantly so be mindful when you give it.
- The tasks are to be achievable and realistic for that moment in time.
- Each time you give a dot twll the pupil why you gave it, i.e. ‘for great sitting’ etc
- This is supposed to be used a positive reinforcement of what you ARE looking for and gives opportunities to praise lots. It is not to be used to add more pressure or to use as threats.
- Make it fun and a positive for both adults and pupils
