Ask Me Anything - Crunchy snack recommendations.

Ask Me Anything - Crunchy snack recommendations.

Welcome to my "Ask Me Anything" blog post series!

I answer lots of questions on my social media channels, and it makes sense to share this information (anonymously!) in case it is useful for others, too.

" Hello, I would like to ask you about children who want to eat all day long. I have a child who seeks biscuits and apples all day long, and there are concerns about the amount of calories that they are consuming. I recognise crunchy snacks are a sensory tool, but how do we set a limit?"

We offer crunchy ice. It’s a fantastic regulation tool without fear of calories. I use these ice trays.

Also, I think apples are fine to eat lots of.

I hope that helps! If you have any other questions, let me know.

*I am not a doctor or medical professional, so for some questions, you might want to contact your GP, the National Autistic Society, or the NHS.
