Welcome to my "Ask Me Anything" blog post series!
I answer lots of questions on my social media channels, and it makes sense to share this information (anonymously!) in case it is useful for others, too.
"If somebody asked you, 'What makes an outstanding lesson?” What would your answer be?"
What a great question!
1 - Children engaged
2- Good pace (fast enough to keep students engaged but still allow processing time)
3 - Opportunities for accessible communication for all children embedded into all lessons
4 - Support staff have a clear role, and all staff offer high-quality care and teaching
5 - Children are relaxed, safe and happy.
Hope this helps! If you have any other questions, let me know.
*I am not a doctor or medical professional, so for some questions you might want to contact your GP, the National Autistic Society, or the NHS.
